We are looking for a Business Development Specialist – Influencer Marketing

We’re looking for a talented and proactive digital native to help expand our online presence through influencer marketing. We already work with some of the biggest names in the industry across YouTube and podcasts, and our influencer ads reach over 60 million people around the globe each month. This is an exciting opportunity to join the newest (and fastest-growing) part of our Media Marketing Team.

As a Business Development Specialist for Influencer Marketing, you’ll lead and drive new opportunities to partner with top global influencers across major social channels, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and more. You will play a pivotal role in driving positive brand exposure for maximum business impact.   

Responsibilities

  • Drive and evaluate the success of our influencer marketing efforts by analyzing new sales opportunities, and make decisions based on internal performance data
  • Manage the relationship between our brand and influencers to ensure both parties can access the most up-to-date information  
  • Negotiate with influencers on behalf of the company for new and existing opportunities
  • Collaborate with our account management team to strategize and negotiate custom deal structures that incentivize and engage influencers 
  • Explore and initiate new influencer opportunities, making sure you maintain a healthy pipeline of leads and deals
  • Convert inbound inquiries into sales-driving partnerships 
  • Seek out the top talent on the internet to scale our efforts across other languages 
  • Optimize outreach templates to increase conversion rates through A/B testing

Requirements

  • You speak at least one of the following languages: English, Japanese, German, or French
  • Have a strong marketing mindset, with a knack for knowing which influencers will perform for a wide range of consumers across genres and geos
  • You’re a relentless go-getter who actively pursues deals and isn’t easily discouraged
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills 
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to derive meaningful insights that will shape your influencer recruitment strategy
  • You’re good at giving and receiving constructive feedback, and learning through trial-and-error
  • You balance meticulous attention to detail and common sense with outside-the-box creativity and fresh ideas
